The Arroyo Group is a 40 year-old professional planning and urban design firm located in Pasadena, California, that provides services to both public and private sector clients. At The Arroyo Group, we seek to balance diverse community interests and economic realities with inspired design. We design revitalized downtowns, dynamic districts, complete streets, and inviting public spaces that build on the unique physical attributes of a community as well as its distinctive identity and character.
We have a unique planning and urban design approach that has proven successful in reaching consensus through education, dialogue and design. Planning that is responsive to the client’s program, to the site, and to the larger community is key to successful projects. Working with multi-disciplinary teams, we have demonstrated success preparing creative and practical plans that are physically, economically and socially transformative to the communities in which we work.
